On Friday night, a man allegedly strangled his girlfriend in Kajiado, Kenya. The next morning, he attempted to dispose of her body by hiring a boda boda operator to take it to a bush in Kyangombe area.
However, the operator refused to carry the 'luggage', citing disagreement over the terms. The suspect then hired another operator, but they too declined, leading to an argument. The body was eventually left on the road.
Police were alerted to the scene and discovered the body wrapped in a gunny sack inside a polythene bag. The body was taken to the City Mortuary for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.
Isinya police boss Kinyua Mugambi confirmed the incident, stating, “my officers have already launched a manhunt for the suspect”.
According to locals, the suspect's actions were a result of a domestic dispute. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
