Kenya's music scene has been blessed with talented artistes who have made a name for themselves with a single hit song. However, some of these artistes have disappeared without a trace, leaving their fans wondering what happened to them.
One such artiste is C'zars, whose real name is Mohammed Karim. He disappeared on October 13, 2006, and his fans and family have been searching for him ever since.
According to reports, C'zars was supposed to sit his KCSE exam a week before he went missing. He left to visit a friend in the neighbourhood, but never returned.
Another artiste who disappeared without a trace is Joel and Circuite, who were best known for their song 'Manyake'. They were a true definition of a one hit wonder, and their whereabouts are still unknown.
Word on the street is that Circute got saved, but not much is known about their current situation.
Deux Vultures, a duo consisting of Nasty Thomas and Colonel Mustapha, were also known for their hit songs such as 'Monalisa', 'Katika', and 'Adhiambo C'. However, Mustapha is still in the music scene, but his theatrics are more famous than his music.
Patonee, who featured in the song 'Talk to you' with Big Pin and Amani, could have made it big in the music industry, but he quit before his career picked up.
