Woman's Body Found in Kitengela, Suspect on the Run

Published on June 21, 2020, a tragic incident unfolded in Kitengela, where a woman's body was discovered stashed in a gunny bag.

According to reports, the suspect had strangled his girlfriend on Friday night and hired a boda boda operator at 5am on Saturday to take the body to a bush in Kyangombe area.

However, the boda boda operator disagreed on the terms and invited another operator, who also refused to assist. The two operators hurriedly left the scene, abandoning the 'luggage' on the road.

Police boss Kinyua Mugambi confirmed the incident, stating, "my officers have already launched a manhunt for the suspect."

After the body was discovered, it was taken to the City Mortuary for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.
