As of June 20, 2020, Kenya's Ministry of Health confirmed 4478 Covid-19 cases, a rise from the previous day's tally.
According to the Ministry's update, 104 people tested positive for the virus over the last 24 hours, with 2 more deaths reported, bringing the total number of fatalities to 121.
Meanwhile, 36 patients were discharged from hospitals after fully recovering, taking the total number of recoveries to 1586.
Over the last 24 hours, 2820 samples were tested, bringing the total number of samples tested to 136361.
The new cases were reported in various counties, with Nairobi leading the pack with 60 cases, followed by Mombasa with 33 cases, Kilifi with 5 cases, and Busia with 3 cases.
Of the new cases, 76 were males, while the rest were females. The youngest patient was 1 year old, while the oldest was 76 years old.
