The Double Life of Kenya's Youth

Published on June 20, 2020

Kenyan youth are living double lives, hiding their true nature from their parents while indulging in sex, drugs, and other vices in universities and towns.

According to a source, most youths in Kenya are living double lives, with many partying and living large in Nairobi but maintaining a low profile when they return to their rural homes.

Universities across the country are hubs for young people, where they meet to study and socialize. At this age, they are sexually active and their bodies are raging with hormones. Sex in university is like a common unit, almost everybody is taking it but just like the exam results, nobody wants to talk about it.

Parents are often oblivious to their children's true nature, with many still living in the bubble of sex before marriage being a sin. However, their kids are smashing like it's nobody's business, with many engaging in sex, drugs, and other vices in universities and towns.

One of the reasons for this double life is the freedom that universities offer. People who were raised by conservative parents often end up getting lost in the world of freedom, trying out everything from sex, drugs, partying, and just living life without a care in the world.

With the advancement of technology, young people can get the information they need in matter of seconds. This is where issues of pornography and masturbation come in, with many teenagers battling with porn addiction but their parents having no clue.

It's time for parents to have more conversations with their children about sex, drugs, masturbation, porn, STDs, and all the other things that revolve around a teenager's life. If we talk about it, it will be so normal that nobody will have to live a double life.
