June 20, 2020, marked a significant milestone for Malala Yousafzai, the renowned education campaigner who survived a Taliban attack in 2012.
Malala, 22, celebrated the completion of her Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree at Oxford University with a series of posts on social media.
“Hard to express my joy and gratitude right now as I completed my Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree at Oxford,” she wrote, accompanied by a photo of herself covered in food and confetti.
“I don’t know what’s ahead. For now, it will be Netflix, reading and sleep,” she added, hinting at her plans after completing her degree.
Malala's journey to Oxford began after she was targeted by the Taliban for advocating for girls' education in Pakistan. She survived the attack and went on to become the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2014.
