COVID-19 in Kenya: 117 more people test positive ¶
On June 20, 2020, Kenya reported 117 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 4,374.
According to Health CAS Rashid Aman, 112 of the new cases are Kenyans and five are foreigners.
The latest cases are from 3,043 samples that were tested in the last 24 hours, with a total cumulative samples tested now standing at 133,541.
The age distribution of the new cases is between 11 to 75 years, with 83 males and 34 females.
The cases are spread out in various counties, including Nairobi (51), Mombasa (22), Kajiado (18), Kiambu (6), Nakuru (5), Garissa (5), Machakos (3), Kericho (2), Busia (2), Uasin Gishu (2), and Wajir (1).
Two more people succumbed to COVID-19 in Kenya, raising the death toll to 119.
However, 91 people have been discharged, with the total number of recoveries from coronavirus now at 1,550.
