COVID-19 in Kenya: 117 more people test positive, total rises to 4,374 ¶

117 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Kenya, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 4,374.
According to Health CAS Rashid Aman, 112 of the new cases are Kenyans and five are foreigners.
The new cases are spread out across various counties, with Nairobi having the highest number of cases at 51, followed by Mombasa with 22 cases.
Age distribution of the new cases ranges from 11 to 75 years, with 83 males and 34 females affected.
Two more people have succumbed to COVID-19 in Kenya, raising the death toll to 119. Meanwhile, 91 people have been discharged, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,550.
The cases are as follows:
- Nairobi: 51 cases from various sub-counties
- Mombasa: 22 cases from various sub-counties
- Kajiado: 18 cases from various sub-counties
- Kiambu: 6 cases from various sub-counties
- Nakuru: 5 cases from Naivasha
- Garissa: 5 cases from Daadab
- Machakos: 3 cases from Athi River
- Kericho: 2 cases from Ainamoi
- Busia: 2 cases from Teso North and Matayos
- Uasin Gishu: 2 cases from Kapseret and Soy
- Wajir: 1 case from Wajir West
