Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes scored a late penalty to salvage a 1-1 draw for his team against Tottenham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 19, 2020.

Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur took the lead in the first half through Steven Bergwijn's goal, but Manchester United's second-half pressure eventually paid off when Fernandes converted a penalty in the 81st minute.

The penalty was awarded after Paul Pogba was brought down in the box by Eric Dier, but a VAR review initially overturned the decision, only for the referee to change his mind after consulting with the video assistant.

Manchester United's Marcus Rashford had a momentous week, as his campaign to ensure vulnerable children receive food vouchers during the English school holidays forced a government U-turn.

However, Rashford was also eager to return to action after being sidelined since January with a back injury, and he had the best chance to break the deadlock in the first half, but his low shot was beaten away by Hugo Lloris.

Manchester United remain in fifth place in the Premier League table, two points behind Chelsea, while Tottenham Hotspur are four points further back in eighth place.
