Kenyan musician CMB Prezzo has made a shocking revelation about his participation in the Big Brother Africa reality show, claiming he genuinely won the competition in 2010.
Speaking exclusively on Cleaning The Airwaves, Prezzo alleged that the show organisers knew he had won but decided to favour South African contestant Keagan Petersen, who was from the host country.
According to Prezzo, he was well compensated by the organisers for taking the second position, with benefits including a meeting with Jay Z in New York and being made the One Campaign goodwill ambassador.
Prezzo claimed that he was paid millions of shillings by the organisers to keep quiet about the alleged scam, stating, 'In the normal Big Brother, the first runners-up never got anything. But for me, because they knew that 'We've played this guy rough, lets compensate him with small small things,'.'
He further alleged that the organisers broke him off with cash and linked up a meeting with Jay Z, making him the One Campaign ambassador, and paid him millions of shillings.
Prezzo's claims come as a surprise, given that he had previously stated that most Kenyans did not support him during his time on the show, but he managed to get to the finals.
