Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba's Rolls-Royce was seized by police in the UK on the eve of the team's return to action against Tottenham.
According to reports, Pogba was driving his Rolls-Royce along the M56 motorway near Manchester Airport when he was stopped by police officers.
The officers reportedly seized the vehicle due to an unlicensed French number plate, which is a requirement under UK law for cars imported from other countries.
Under UK law, any car that has been in the country for six months within a year must be registered with the DVLA and fitted with UK plates.
Car owners who are residents of the UK must also register their imported vehicles within two weeks of importation.
A witness described the Rolls-Royce as 'standing out' on the motorway, but had no idea who was driving it.
Paul Pogba is expected to be in action for Manchester United against Tottenham on Friday night.
