On June 19, 2020, the Ministry of Health announced that a total of 1,550 Covid-19 patients had been cured in the country.

Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman reported that 91 Covid-19 patients were declared cured and discharged from hospitals over the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health also confirmed 117 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the national tally to 4,374, from a sample size of 3,043.

Of the new cases, 83 were male and 34 were female, with the remaining 20 cases not specified by gender.

Unfortunately, the total number of fatalities in the country rose to 119 after two more patients died overnight.
