MP Babu Owino Denies Hospital Bill for DJ Evolve ¶
Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has denied allegations that he has not paid the hospital bill for DJ Evolve, who was shot by him in January.
According to Babu Owino, he has paid the KSh 17 million hospital bill for DJ Evolve, who has been receiving treatment at a hospital in Kilimani since January 6.
"I have paid the KSh 17 million hospital bill for DJ Evolve, and that is why the hospital allowed him to leave," Babu Owino said in an interview.
However, the hospital has not confirmed whether Babu Owino has paid the bill, and DJ Evolve's family has also not commented on the matter.
On June 18, DJ Evolve was discharged from the hospital, but his family has expressed concerns that he is still in a critical condition.
"I have heard people talking about his condition, but I want to assure them that he was discharged from the hospital because he has reached a stage where he can continue receiving treatment at home," Babu Owino said.
It is worth noting that the incident occurred on January 6, and DJ Evolve has been receiving treatment for over a month.
