June 19, 2020 - Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has dismissed claims that he failed to settle the medical bill of Felix Orinda alias DJ Evolve, who was shot at a city club in January 2020.
According to Babu, he had settled the bill of KSh 17 million, which allowed the hospital to discharge DJ Evolve on June 18.
"I sorted his bill of KSh 17 million and that is why the hospital allowed him to be discharged," Babu said.
Despite earlier claims that the bill was still pending, Babu maintained that he had taken care of the medical expenses, which included the KSh 17 million bill.
"I have heard people raise concerns about the condition of the patient and I want to tell you DJ Evolve was discharged by doctors on account that his condition had improved and could be managed from home," he said.
