Here's a step-by-step guide to applying for a KRA pin online:
- Open two tabs on your computer browser. Sign in to your email address on one tab and keep it on standby.
- On the second tab, navigate to itax.kra.go.ke and sign in to the iTax portal.
- Click the 'New PIN registration' button on the left side of the page.
- Fill in the required details, including your type of citizenship, profession, ID number, and date of birth.
- Enter your physical address, phone number, and email address. Press the 'send verification' button and wait for the code sent to your email address.
- Fill in the remaining fields, including your tax obligation type, employment details, and agent details.
- Go back to the first page and enter the verification code sent to your email address.
- Fill in the arithmetic problem and click next. Confirm your choice and download the pin certificate on your computer.
