Khaligraph Jones: A Celebrity with a Troubled Past ¶
Kenyan award-winning rapper Khaligraph Jones has made a name for himself in the local and global music scene, but his personal life is marred by a troubled relationship with his family.
Speaking to comedian Jalang'o, Khaligraph revealed that he has never traveled back to his parents' home in Bondo, Kisumu since becoming a celebrity, a decision he attributes to a rough landing created by his parents.
According to Khaligraph, the last time he set foot in his roots was during his father's burial, and that was an obligation he couldn't say no to.
He expressed his desire not to see his kids have a broken relationship with him, and urged his family to mend the broken pieces and patch things up.
As seen in the video below, Jalang'o urged Khaligraph to mend his relationship with his family, to which the artist stated he will try.
At the end of the day, everything has to come back to one thing – you have to go back home.
