Published on June 19, 2020, Prezzo's story is one that highlights the complexities of relationships and the power of unexpected help.
Back in 2000, Prezzo, then known as Mr. Jackson Makini, found himself in a precarious situation after being mugged and having to pull out his pistol to scare off the attackers.
He was subsequently arrested and taken to Parklands police station, where he spent the night in a cell.
However, it was his ex, Sheila Mwanyigah, who came to his rescue, bringing him mango juice and ensuring that he was released without any criminal records.
Prezzo has since spoken highly of Mwanyigah, crediting her with saving him from a potentially dire situation.
“Nikki men! The last person that you expect to pull up for you is the person who pulls up for you. Nikki came. She came with two juices and she got an apple and an orange,” he said in an interview with CTA.
Prezzo's gratitude towards Mwanyigah is a testament to the impact that one person can have on another's life.
