On June 18, 2020, a chance encounter between Lady Gaga and her fan, Shannon Mckee, left the internet in awe. The two met on the streets of Malibu, California, where Lady Gaga was taking a stroll with her boyfriend Michael Polansky.
Shannon, a 27-year-old strong fan of Lady Gaga, had been admiring her beautiful jacket from afar. She mustered up the courage to approach Lady Gaga and complimented her on her jacket, saying, 'Hey, that is a really bad af jacket you got on. And she said, 'Thank you.' I kind of recognised the voice, but I am not one to really go up to celebrities,' Shannon explained.
As they struck a conversation, Lady Gaga revealed her support for the LGBTQ community, which touched Shannon's heart. She explained that Lady Gaga's love and support was the reason why a close friend of hers came out of the closet while they were in high school.
Shannon thanked Lady Gaga for listening to the voices of the voiceless and championing for their rights day and night. The story touched Lady Gaga's heart, and she instinctively took off her jacket and handed it over to Shannon.
