On June 18, 2020, Nyali MP Mohamed Ali filed a removal notice in parliament against Transport CS James Macharia, citing gross violation of the constitution and misappropriation of public funds.
However, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has come out to defend CS Macharia, labeling Ali's move as a 'hopeless endeavor wrapped in hullabaloo and petty imagination.'
According to Nyoro, the signatures accompanying Ali's petition are fake, and the motion will not succeed if presented in parliament for debate.
‘Mohammed Ali’s purported bid to oust CS James Macharia is a hopeless endeavor wrapped in hullabaloo and petty imagination. Zero content, can’t pass the threshold. Tuache CS afanye kazi bila fitina. We are African and Africa is our Business,’ Nyoro wrote on his Facebook.
