Kenya's social media landscape has given birth to many viral sensations, but few have captured the nation's attention like King Kalala.

With over 40,000 followers on Instagram, King Kalala has become a household name, thanks to her unapologetic views on societal issues.

Her rise to fame began when a video of her advising women to 'play the field' instead of crying over spilt milk went viral.

Since then, King Kalala has become a sought-after source of advice and laughter, with her character often coming off as tomboyish and unapologetic.

However, she also has a softer side, which she proudly wears like a crown.

Recently, media personality Amina Abdi Rabar revealed that she has taken it upon herself to mentor and guide King Kalala, with the goal of helping her transition from social media to radio.

During a live session on NTV's 'The Trend,' Amina assured King Kalala that she would do everything in her power to make sure she lands a radio job.

'I have been calling everybody I know... and I will keep calling them... I promise you that I will get you on radio,' Amina said, jokingly adding 'sijui ata utanipatia salo yako ya kwanza.'

King Kalala's top choices for radio stations include NRG Radio, Vybez Radio, and long-time powerhouse Kiss 100 FM.

With Amina's mentorship and support, it remains to be seen whether King Kalala will indeed join the radio world.
