Published on June 18, 2020, a woman took to online forums to share her fears about her husband's potential infidelity.
She explained that her husband usually shaves his privates every six weeks but since the start of lockdown, he hadn't bothered.
However, now that he's been given a date to return to work, he's started shaving again.
Some users reassured her that the sudden grooming could be 'innocent' since many people have been lazy in lockdown, while others weren't so sure.
She revealed that her husband had been involved with a female work colleague in the past, which raised suspicions among some users.
One user said, 'It could be quite innocent... that in his work clothes he's more comfortable after shaving, so hasn't felt the need when at home... it could be that he got lazy and out of his normal routine while stuck at home...'
Another added, 'He may have nothing to hide, but I don't think it is unreasonable to ask.'
However, a fourth user admitted, 'I would be a little suspicious especially because of the past. It also hugely depends on how he handled the situation in the past - was he incredibly apologetic.'
Another user shared her own experience, saying, 'My husband who cheated on me – he did this as well. He never shaved his pubes and wasn’t bothered for a long time while we’re together but when he works far he started shaving his pubes regularly.'
