Magoha Suggests National Exams May Be Held in April 2021 If Schools Reopen in September

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha has hinted that national exams may be held in April 2021 if schools reopen in September this year.

Magoha made the suggestion during a meeting with a committee addressing the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

According to Magoha, if schools do not reopen in September, the government will be forced to take other measures, which he did not specify, but said he would not disclose them to the committee.

Magoha also stated that the government is still discussing the issue of reopening schools, taking into account the rising number of COVID-19 cases.

He emphasized that the government is looking for a suitable way to prevent the spread of the virus in schools when they reopen.
