On June 3, 2020, Nigerian singer Davido hinted at a need for 'cleansing' in a post shared on his social media platform, stating that he had put people before himself for too long.
Fast forward to the present, it appears Davido has taken drastic measures to prioritize his own life, unfollowing everyone on Instagram, including his wife Chioma Avril Rowland.
According to Uhondo News, Davido's following count is now at zero, with no friends, label, or even his own family members left on his list.
While Davido has not commented on the reasons behind his decision, fans are speculating that there might be trouble in paradise.
As seen in a previous post, Davido had stated,
"If you can’t reach me, don’t reach me! I’ll contact you. All my life, I have put people before me…I think it’s time to actually live my life and take care of myself. I have changed my number! I needed some cleansing to do. Love you all,"
which may have foreshadowed his recent actions.
