Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards Secure Three-Year Partnership with Betsafe

On June 18, 2020, Kenyan Premier League clubs Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards announced a new partnership deal with betting firm Betsafe.

The partnership, which will run until 2023, marks a significant financial boost for the two teams.

According to Gor Mahia, the partnership will provide substantial financial support when football resumes.

As part of the deal, Betsafe will be the official head sponsor and shirt sponsor for both teams.

Chairman Ambrose Rachier of Gor Mahia expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, 'We are happy to announce this deal with Betsafe. A very welcoming message to our fans that we have secured a long term financial support from a strong and safe partner.'

Dr Dan Shikanda, Chairman AFC Leopards SC, added, 'We are very proud to announce this new major deal with the Betsafe brand, especially to our fans. For us, this sponsorship means everything, as it gives us a sense of security and works peace to be able to focus even more on becoming the best team in the country.'

Tom Bwana, PR & Partner Manager at Bet High (K) Ltd., emphasized Betsafe's commitment to responsible gaming and its passion for football, saying, 'We will be launching in the Kenyan market very soon and our top priority is to support Kenyan football.'
