South African musician Kgaogelo Moagi, known by the stage name Master KG, has announced plans to visit Kenya in the near future to perform for his fans.
During a recent live TV interview, Master KG expressed his gratitude to his Kenyan fans, stating that he would soon repay their love with a major performance.
‘To my fans in Kenya, I love you guys so much, I was supposed to come and perform there some time this year but I will come very soon. Thank you for the love and I won’t disappoint you soon,’ he said.
Master KG, who is famous for his hit song ‘Jerusalema’, also praised Kenyan artistes Sauti Sol and Akothee, calling Akothee a close friend and collaborator.
At just 24 years old, Master KG has already achieved significant success, producing record-breaking hits and winning numerous awards, including the 2018 AFRIMMA Award for Best Electro and Dance song for ‘Skeleton Move’.
His song ‘Jerusalema’, released in 2019, has become a continental hit, with a remix featuring Burna Boy set to be released soon.
Master KG has come a long way from his humble beginnings, having grown up from a boy who used to fake illness to skip school to a successful artiste with a net worth in millions of dollars and a fleet of luxurious cars.
