On June 18, 2020, Tatu City unveiled Unity West, its first low-cost residential development, featuring two-bedroom apartments priced at Sh4 million.

The project, which is part of a larger 1,200-unit residential development, has seen the certification of the first 48 units, which are now ready for occupation.

Residents of Unity West will enjoy access to a badminton court, a mini basketball court, and a playground, with future developments including a two-acre park, infinity pool, gym, coffee shop, and commercial centre.

Another 48 units are set to be completed in October 2020, while 384 units are expected to be finished by the end of 2022.

Tatu City has attracted multinational investors, who have set up light industries within the property, as well as high-end homes.

According to Tatu City, the high-end Kijani Ridge residential development is undergoing infrastructural development, with roads being paved and water pipes laid to enable 45 families to move in soon.

“Eight hundred metres of water pipes, designed for 45 customers, are being laid in Kijani Meadow. At the same time, the contractor in Kijani Slopes is working on grading, road formation, storm-water drains and road filling,” Tatu City said.
