On June 17, 2020, Wiper and CCM signed a memorandum of understanding with Jubilee, marking a significant development in Kenyan politics.

According to Kalonzo Musyoka, the leader of Wiper, the alliance aims to support the government of President Uhuru Kenyatta in the National Assembly and Senate.
