On June 17, 2020, President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party signed a post-election cooperation agreement with Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper Democratic Movement and Isaac Ruto's Chama Cha Mashinani at the Jubilee Party headquarters in Nairobi.

The agreement aims to strengthen the three parties' collaboration ahead of the 2022 General Election.

Wiper's Secretary General Judith Achieng Sijeny and Chama Cha Mashinani's Secretary General Buzeki Bundotich signed the deal on behalf of their parties.

Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and Chama Cha Mashinani leader Isaac Ruto expressed their commitment to supporting President Kenyatta's development agenda and pushing the government's agenda in both Houses of Parliament.

"We shall cooperate fully in terms of disagreement, enhancing Jubilee programs in both houses of Parliament," Kalonzo said.

He clarified that Wiper still remains under the NASA umbrella, with the ultimate goal of forming a political coalition with Jubilee and other parties for the 2022 polls.

Isaac Ruto termed the agreement as historical, saying it provides a perfect opportunity for President Kenyatta to deliver on his pledges.
