On June 17, 2020, a high court issued a temporary order to prevent Eric Agolla Lugalia from entering and encroaching on a Ksh.250 million land parcel in Karen, belonging to Stuart Gerald Cullinan Herd, a director of WOW beverages.

The court directed the officer in charge of Karen Police station to ensure maintenance of law and order in the land.

According to documents seen by Citizen Digital, Eric Agolla Lugalia was seen at the property on May 20, claiming it had been given to him by late President Daniel Moi. However, after interrogation, he fled.

Mr. Herd's security informed him that a stranger wanted to access his plot, prompting police to find Agolla at the property. They took photos of him, his car, and his ID.

Agolla claimed the alleged raid and arrests in his property were trespass, illegal, unlawful, and an abuse of legal process. He alleged that as a result of the trespass, he had suffered inconvenience and unjustified harassment by the National Police Service.
