On June 12, 2020, Kevin Bahati, a popular Kenyan singer, released his latest song 'Wanani', which quickly became a hit, trending at number one on YouTube.

However, the song's success was short-lived as it was pulled down from the streaming platform just five days later due to a copyright violation claim filed by Jivu, a Kenyan two-boy band known for their Afro-Fusion style of music.

According to reports, Bahati had chosen to feature Phoina, his wife's best friend, as the video vixen in 'Wanani' because he had already featured his wife in two previous videos.

Bahati has yet to respond to the copyright claim, leaving fans and followers wondering what's next for the singer.
