Safaricom has scheduled a planned maintenance for M-Pesa services, which will be unavailable from 12am to 5am on Thursday, June 18th, 2020.
According to a statement released on Wednesday, June 17th, 2020, all M-Pesa services, including airtime purchase, will be temporarily unavailable during the maintenance period.
"For more than 13 years, M-PESA has continued to transform millions of lives in Kenya, connecting you to new opportunities and different possibilities every day. To support this continued transformation, we regularly undertake maintenance of our systems from time to time," the statement read.
The maintenance has been planned to minimize inconvenience to customers, and Safaricom apologized for any disruption that may be caused.
