Published on June 17, 2020, Glenfiddich has unveiled a striking new design for its 12 and 15 year old whiskies in Kenya, marking a significant milestone in the brand's expansion into African markets.
The new design, which celebrates Glenfiddich's maverick beginnings and family-run heritage, features a refined makeover for the 12 Year Old, now known as 'Our Original Twelve', and a rebranding of the 15 Year Old as 'Our Solera Fifteen', highlighting the brand's innovative Solera system.
The redesign creates a fresh and distinctive look, intended to appeal to current drinkers and entice those around the world to discover the wonderful world of single malt whisky.
Located in Speyside, Scotland, Glenfiddich's distillery was hand-built by William Grant, the brand's visionary founder, with the help of his children in a single year. The new design features a clearly defined valley, indented into the face of the glass, to give a more chiselled profile, along with the iconic Stag symbol in gold and William Grant's signature on the bottle top.
The 12 year old maintains its characteristic sweet and subtle oak flavour, while the 15 year old still boasts the silky smooth and full-bodied cinnamon and ginger flavour.
Other expressions by Glenfiddich will be rolled out subsequently, with the Small Batch 18 Year Old following in 2020 and the exceptional 21 Year Old in 2021.
