On a fateful day in June 2020, a Bungoma man returned home to an unexpected scene: his wife in bed with a stranger. The man, a Nairobi-based police officer, had been suspicious of his wife's infidelity and decided to take matters into his own hands.
Before confronting his wife, the officer, identified as Nyongesa, called his friends to witness the scene. Upon their return, Nyongesa's anger boiled over, and he couldn't contain himself as he saw his wife engaging in intimate activities with another man.
A viral video clip captured the chaos that ensued as Nyongesa and his friends descended upon the couple. However, many were puzzled by the man's inability to defend himself against the heavy blows.
It was later revealed that the couple had been stuck in bed after engaging in illicit intercourse on Nyongesa's matrimonial bed.
In a surprising twist, Nyongesa claimed that he had hired a native doctor, Sham Patel, to help him uncover the truth behind his wife's alleged infidelity. Patel's services were said to have helped Nyongesa catch his wife in the act after 40 days of 'stealing'.
According to Nyongesa, he had suspected his wife of having an affair with his childhood friend, Wasike, but she had denied the allegations. However, through Patel's intervention, Nyongesa was able to expose his wife's infidelity.
Dr. Sham Patel, a native healer known for solving marriage problems and providing medicine for stubborn diseases, was called to the scene to separate the couple. Patel's traditional paraphernalia and medicine were said to have played a crucial role in resolving the situation.
