COVID-19 Cases Confirmed at State House, Nairobi

Kenya's COVID-19 cases continue to rise, with a recent outbreak confirmed at State House in Nairobi. On June 11, a mass testing exercise identified four positive cases among the staff.

According to State House spokesperson Kanze Dena, the affected individuals were immediately admitted to the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital in Kiambu County for treatment.

"The tests are conducted on all staff, including the President and his family," Kanze Dena stated.

Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 infections in Kenya has risen to 3,727, with 133 new cases reported on Monday.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced that 3,365 samples were tested within the last 24 hours, highlighting the ongoing efforts to combat the pandemic.
