Kenya's hospitality industry has been severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, with many hotels forced to close due to social distancing regulations and dwindling customer numbers.

However, some forward-thinking food companies have seized the opportunity to innovate and adapt to the new reality.

Love & Meals, a home cooking delivery company, has been at the forefront of this innovation, offering a range of meal kits with fresh and nutritious ingredients and recipes.

"Our aim is to offer a variety of meal kits with fresh and nutritious food ingredients and recipes to our customers so that they can prepare delicious meals and have fun with their loved ones at home," said Ayumi Yamamoto, Managing Director of Love & Meals.

The company's unique business model, dubbed "Directly to Consumers," has been a key factor in its success, allowing for direct contact with customers and a high level of customization.

"Our customers are our lifeline, and that is why we have deliberately made a commitment to work closely with them because the quality of products and services we offer are constantly being improved by our customers," added Ms. Yamamoto.
