Italian champions Juventus are intensifying their efforts to secure a double swap deal with Chelsea, with the aim of landing midfielders Jorginho and Marcos Alonso.
According to reports, Juventus are prepared to offer two players, Adrien Rabiot and Federico Bernardeschi, plus a cash component to finalize the deal.
This proposed transfer comes as no surprise, given the close relationship between Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri and Jorginho, who previously worked together at Chelsea.
Recall that Sarri spent just one season at Chelsea, during which he made it clear that he held Jorginho in high esteem, having brought him to the club from Napoli.
As Chelsea continue to strengthen their squad, with recent signings Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, they are now reportedly targeting Kai Havertz.
Meanwhile, Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a potential move to Chelsea, with the Portuguese international reportedly valued at €120m.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is said to be interested in bringing Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge, and would welcome the opportunity to have him in his squad.
However, Blues fans have expressed surprise at the prospect of Ronaldo joining their club, with many taking to social media to share their thoughts on the potential transfer.
