Kenya's COVID-19 cases have risen to 3,860 after 133 new cases were confirmed on June 16, 2020.
According to Health Minister Mutahi Kagwe, the new cases were identified after 3,255 samples were tested.
Speaking at the Ministry of Health in Nairobi on June 16, 2020, Kagwe said the 133 new cases were confirmed after a total of 3,255 samples were tested.
Kenya has now recorded a total of 105 deaths due to COVID-19, with one more death reported on June 16, 2020.
Meanwhile, the number of recoveries has risen to 1,326 after 40 more patients were discharged from hospital.
Kagwe urged Kenyans to continue taking necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
