According to sources, the feud started when Bahati called out Harmonize for disrespecting Diamond, the man behind the lifting of his success. Bahati expressed his gratitude towards Diamond, stating that he played a major role in his success.
Harmonize, however, unfollowed Bahati after the post, and the two have not spoken since 2019 when Harmonize visited Nairobi.
Bahati later clarified that he didn't mean to offend anyone, stating that he was just trying to make peace between Harmonize and Diamond. He also denied being sent by anyone to post the message, saying 'I have my own money.'
