As schools closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, parents were left scrambling for reliable sources of education for their children. Online classrooms have become a lifeline for many families, and one teacher has taken his passion to the digital space.

Benjamin Kimuyu, a well-qualified teacher with over a decade of experience, has created a tutoring website, Scopebenja Mathametics Gurus Centre, to cater to the needs of school-going children. His website offers lessons for primary and secondary school students, ensuring that they do not fall behind in their studies.

With his outstanding knowledge and commitment to education, Kimuyu has partnered with other well-qualified teachers to provide continuous online teaching and revision materials. His dedication to his students is evident in his approach, where he uses everyday experiences and the environment to explain mathematical concepts that are perceived as difficult by students.

“As a well-renowned private teacher in Kenya, I have been serving as an academic professional in a number of different schools since 2010 and together with other leading teachers we are providing continuous online teaching and revision materials,” says Kimuyu.

Kimuyu's rule of thumb is to only leave class after students have asked questions, ensuring that they grasp the real concept before they leave the room. This level of dedication has earned him awards for his exemplary teaching, and it's clear that he is passionate about providing the best education for his students.
