On Monday night, social media platforms Instagram and Twitter witnessed a unique spectacle as men took to twerking in a bid to win a brand new PlayStation 5 console.

The challenge, initiated by a South African accountant, Phume, had men scrambling to show off their dance moves in exchange for the coveted gaming console.

Phume's request, which was broadcast live on her Instagram account, asked men to twerk for her in exchange for a chance to win the console.

Despite initial skepticism, a large number of men thronged her live session, with some even bringing props to make their act stand out.

The hashtag #TwerkForPhume trended on social media, with many men proudly showcasing their dance moves.

However, after the live session, Phume went silent, leaving many men to assume that no one would win the console.

But, in a surprising twist, it has been revealed that Phume actually stuck to her word and crowned Vigro_kabza the winner, with plans to gift him the console.

Vigro's impressive dance moves, which included backflips and stunts, left many ladies impressed and calling for him to be awarded the console.

Phume has since promised to do another challenge, this time with a surprise for the ladies.

On Twitter, she wrote, 'Queens please join me at 9pm this evening for a live instagram session to toast to a successful Phase 1! Have your glasses ready as I give some clarifications on Saturday's live session and what has happened since then. I also have a surprise for some of you!'
