According to DJ Gee Gee, he was not ready to start a family, which led to frequent fights with his wife. He admitted that their communication broke down, causing them to grow apart.
“I wasn’t communicating to my wife and that meant it was even harder for her. That was one of the things that made us really grow apart.”
His wife, Jasmine, felt offended by his reluctance to have children. She expressed her disappointment, saying, “I brought up the conversation of having a baby and he said I should give him some time to think about it. I lack patience. That when I lost it, because I was feeling I had lost my youth. I got married when I had just turned 24. I didn’t want to have kids in my 30s. I thought he don’t wanna have kids. I thought I am stuck in a childless marriage.”
The couple’s inability to have children led to a breakdown in their communication, causing them to grow further apart. Jasmine revealed that they would go for weeks without talking, with her even considering moving back to her parents’ home.
Despite the challenges they faced, the couple has managed to work through their issues and strengthen their marriage.
