On June 15, 2020, Kenya reported 133 additional cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 3,727.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced the new cases while speaking at Ol-Kalou in Nyandarua County, where he commended the county for remaining coronavirus-free.

Out of 600 samples tested in Nyandarua, all had turned out negative, but Kagwe emphasized that this did not mean the people of Nyandarua were immune to contracting the virus.

Thirty-three patients were discharged from various centres in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,286.

Unfortunately, one more patient died, bringing the total virus deaths to 104.

"The number of infections continue to rise in the country and we must do something as individuals to stop the trend," Kagwe said.
