4 State House Staff Test Positive for Coronavirus

On June 11, State House staff underwent mass Covid-19 testing, which revealed that four staff members had contracted the virus.

According to Kanze Dena-Mararo, Spokesperson in the office of the President and head of PSCU, the infected staff members were admitted to the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital in Kiambu County for treatment.

Ms. Dena-Mararo assured the public that President Uhuru Kenyatta and the First Family are safe and free from Covid-19.

As part of proactive measures to contain the spread of Covid-19, State House staff are regularly tested for the disease, Ms. Dena-Mararo explained.
