On June 15, 2020, Huawei Mobile Kenya announced pre-orders for its recently launched smartphones, the Huawei Y8P and the Huawei Y6p. The Huawei Y8P is available for pre-order at Ksh 24,999, while the Huawei Y6p can be pre-ordered at Kshs 14,999.
During the pre-order phase, customers who purchase the Huawei Y8P will receive a free gift hamper worth Kshs 5099, while those who buy the Huawei Y6p will get a free gift hamper worth Kshs 3299.
The Huawei Y8P boasts a 48MP AI Triple Camera setup, which includes a 48MP main camera, an 8MP Ultra-Wide angle camera, and a 2MP Bokeh camera. This setup supports AIS Super Night Photography, allowing users to capture well-lit photos even in low-light situations.
