On June 15, 2020, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced a significant increase in Covid-19 cases in Kenya, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 3,727.
According to Kagwe, 133 more people in Kenya have tested positive for the virus, with 33 patients being discharged from various centres in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,286.
Speaking in Nyandarua County, central Kenya, Kagwe also reported one more death, bringing the total number of virus-related deaths to 104.
