Kenya's Covid-19 cases have reached a total of 3,727, with 133 new infections reported in the last 24 hours, according to Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe.
On June 15, 2020, Kagwe announced that 33 more patients had been discharged from various centres, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,286.
During a visit to Nyandarua County, Kagwe noted that one more person had died in the same period, bringing the total virus deaths to 104.
"The number of infections continue to rise in the country and we must do something as individuals to stop the trend," Kagwe said, commending Nyandarua County for remaining coronavirus free.
He highlighted that out of 600 samples tested in the county, all had turned out negative, but emphasized that this did not mean the people of Nyandarua were immune from contracting the virus.
