Former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey, 29, is reportedly being offered to Tottenham Hotspur by Juventus, who are looking to sell the £400,000-a-week player due to financial constraints caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite his struggles to make an impact in Serie A, Ramsey has a strong connection to north London, having spent 11 years with Arsenal before joining Juventus last summer.
However, his salary demands could be a problem for Tottenham, whose finances have been impacted by the pandemic. Intermediaries working on behalf of Juventus have also approached Manchester United, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich about the player.
Before joining Juventus, Ramsey was an integral part of Arsenal's squad, winning three FA Cups. However, he was not offered a new deal by the Gunners in his final season, leading him to bid an emotional farewell to the Emirates faithful.
