Published on June 15, 2020, Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie has shared an unusual story about his early days in high school.
According to Kiarie, his colleagues would often ask him to write love letters for them, which they would then send to their crushes in neighboring schools.
"In high school, my colleagues came to me and asked me to write letters for them. I would design a note pad, draw a flower, and then write a nice love letter and my friends would send to their girlfriends. Days later, he would get a favourable reply," Kiarie recalled during an interview on the Churchill Show.
With a career spanning two decades as part of the Redykyulass trio, Kiarie made a name for himself in the comedy world before transitioning to politics.
He also announced on the show that the government has allocated funds to renovate art centers and social halls across the country.
