Published on June 15, 2020, New Zealand Rugby announced that All Black lock Patrick Tuipulotu has signed a contract extension, securing his spot through the 2023 World Cup in France.
At 27 years old, Tuipulotu has earned 30 Test caps since his debut in 2014 and will continue to lead the Auckland Blues in Super Rugby.
"I am still young and learning all the time, and I want to establish myself as an international player," Tuipulotu said.
Coach Ian Foster praised Tuipulotu's growth, both on and off the field, calling it "fantastic news" for the All Blacks.
Tuipulotu led the Blues to a 30-20 victory over the Wellington Hurricanes in their first Super Rugby Aotearoa match.
