Published on June 15, 2020, Tanzanian gospel singer Christina Shusho has finally revealed the reasons behind her departure from her matrimonial home.

Shusho, known for her hit song 'Nipe Macho', had been spotted several times without her wedding ring and had stopped attending her husband's church, leaving her fans concerned.

Responding to separation reports, Shusho stated that she had moved out of her matrimonial home to fulfill an assignment given to her by God.

'Ukweli ni kwamba ni assignment tu there is nothing different other than that. Ni assignment tu ambayo nimekuta Mungu amenipa kipindi hiki. Kwa hiyo lazima nitoke niende ku fulfill assignment,' she said.

Shusho also revealed that she had started her own church, Dreamer Centre, after discussing the idea with her husband, who gave her his approval.

Photos of her husband had been missing from her social media pages, and addressing this, Shusho said, 'Siposti picha ya familia yangu sababu haileti pesa. If it doesn’t bring money why post?'

Shusho is a mother of three.
